Version 1.1.1 is compatible with iPhones, iPads, and iPod touch devices running iOS 3.1.3 or later.
Recently featured on Apple’s What’s Hot section, Gogo Navigator USA & CAN cracked the top 50 of the Navigation category rankings reaching as high as No. 37, says to the South Korea-based EnGIS.
According to its makers, Gogo Navigator USA & CAN offers the most comprehensive real-time, turn-by-turn 3D navigational data available for iPhone and iPod touch users.
It delivers millions of onboard POI’s, plus Google Local Search, which enables users to always find what they are looking for.
The app takes advantage of OpenGL which enables some pretty stunning textures for a 3D landmark display.
Since the app stores its maps locally, it doesn’t need an internet connection.

As noted above, the latest version offers a few new features and tweaks. However, the recent 1.1.0 update brought with it a slew of enhancements, including Text-To-Speech (TTS) voice guidance, lane guidance to help improve navigational safety, realistic signpost display and faster street address searching.
The app further offers auto-zooming (at intersection & on speed), route planning, a fuel-cost calculator (customizable), speed limit warning, iPhone contacts integration, iPhone call interruption, and more.
