Mark O’Mara, the attorney getting George Zimmerman acquitted in the Trayvon Martin murder trial, has been hired as a legal analyst by CNN.

The Orlando Sentinel describes that he started on Friday. O’Mara previously provided legal commentary during shows discussing the Zimmerman trial in June and July.

His contract does not specify that he will appear on certain shows. He will be providing a legal breakdown during several news broadcasts.

He also offered legal commentator services during the 2011 trial of Case Anthony. At the time, he collaborated with WKMG-Channel 6.

As I mentioned, George Zimmerman is getting a divorce after finishing up his trial. His wife, Shellie, has announced that she wants to end the six-year marriage.

She has described the financial and personal hardship faced by the couple throughout the trial.
