If it happened to Ben, it can happen to you

Ever bought anything at GameStop? And if you did, were you able to live your life peacefully after that? Here's what can happen to a guy if he decides to buy a game at GameStop:

-having gotten his very own copy of Tekken 5 game at GameStop, our guy is very anxious to get home and pop it in his PS2 to start fighting; -the game is as good as he hoped it would be and therefore plays day and night for a week or so; -one morning he wakes up, again to his Tekken 5 game and switches on the PS2; -but the phone rings, so our guy pauses the game and answers the phone; -what do you know, it's GameStop: "We hope you're enjoying your copy of Tekken 5 and if you've killed Jinpachi in every possible way, why don't you bring it to the store and trade it in? We're willing to give you $35 in trade for your copy of Tekken 5..."

Talk about stalking people huh? So now you can't even buy a damn game at GameStop because the store's management is desperately trying to stay in business by disturbing you with phone calls. I wouldn't be surprised if they had employees hired especially for that, like a consultant that stays all day long behind a desk, trying to convince customers to trade-in their games which GameStop knows they have.

This really happened to someone and that someone is Ben from Opposable Thumbs. Just think about it, they're like serial killers, keeping track of every little detail. How would you feel if the company you bought something from gave you a call at 10pm telling you: "We KNOW you have..." a certain something? Wouldn't you feel like your personal life is being violated?
