As Samsung’s official Galaxy S IV launch is drawing near, more and more info on what the device would have to provide users with in terms of features and capabilities has emerged online.

Apparently, the device will be able to shoot photos with the back and front cameras at the same time, info coming from it168 unveils, as a recent post on SamMobile explains.

However, the same capability will arrive on LG’s Optimus G Pro smartphone in the near future, as the company has just announced plans to release it to its users as part of a so-called Value Pack update.

Galaxy S IV will also sport an eye tracking technology to enable users to scroll pages without touching the phone, and similar capabilities are set to arrive on Optimus G Pro as well, it seems.

The functionality will also enable users to pause a video through simply taking their eyes off the screen. The handset’s front camera will detect the move, and the smartphone will stop the playback until the user looks at the screen again.

On top of that, the upcoming Samsung flagship device is rumored to sport a completely plastic outer design, in line with what the South Korean handset vendor said before.

Even so, the phone’s case is expected to offer a “metallic feel” on the side, especially since it comes with a brushed metal effect. Overall, the device should appear premium and sleek.

Other details on the device include the fact that it will sport an embossed home button, voice controls, a dotted design on the back, and a very thin bezel to make room for the 5-inch full HD screen that it should sport.

There’s little left to be detailed on the smartphone, provided that all these rumors on its features and capabilities pan out in the end. One way or the other, all on Galaxy S IV will be announced officially in a matter of hours, so stay tuned for more on it.
