Canadian wireless carrier TELUS has finally confirmed officially the upcoming availability of a Galaxy S model on its airwaves, namely the Galaxy S Fascinate 3G+. The new device comes with all of the high-end features Samsung packed inside other Galaxy S models, while offering support for TELUS’ network.

With a large Super AMOLED touchscreen display and enhanced support for data transfer, the new device should easily prove a great option for all those looking to purchase a device that can offer great entertainment features, so that they can enjoy games, videos, and web content on-the-go.

“The Samsung Galaxy S Fascinate 3G+ is guaranteed to supply users with the most integrated and intelligent multi-media mobile experience to date,” said Paul Brannen, vice-president, Samsung Mobile.

“With the highest quality screen in the market, gamers, entertainment buffs, social media enthusiasts and multi-media creators have it all with this stylish smartphone.”

The 4-inch Super AMOLED display is not the only high end feature the new Samsung Galaxy S Fascinate 3G+ comes to the market with.

The handset also includes a fast 1GHz application processor, as well as a 5-megapixel photo snapper on the back, Wi-Fi and Bluetooth connectivity options, and enough storage space to fit the needs of any user.

Moreover, the new device runs under Google's Android 21 operating system, and features support for various services and applications from the company, including Google Search, Google Maps, Gmail, YouTube, Google Talk.

On top of than, the mobile phone comes with support for the Android Market, where users can find a number of more than 100,000 free and paid applications available for download.

“TELUS has consistently delivered the strongest smartphone experience by delivering a leading array of Android smartphones for our customers, all running on Canada’s fastest mobile network”, said David Fuller, TELUS Chief Marketing Officer.

“The Samsung Galaxy S Fascinate 3G+ is a great addition to our Android device line-up, delivering impressive screen clarity and innovative applications that connect you wirelessly to devices like TVs, laptops and tablets.”

Some other features of the new device include Samsung’s AllShare app, which enables sharing content over various screens at home, or mobile hotspot capabilities, so that one would connect up to 5 other Wi-Fi enabled devices via this phone.

The new handset also comes with Samsung’s innovative Social Hub solution, offering enhanced social networking features (Facebook and Twitter), as well as fast access to email, messaging and other communication features.

“Texting and emailing on the Fascinate 3G+ is also faster than ever with Swype. The pre-installed technology allows for intuitive text entry through one continuous finger motion across the virtual QWERTY keyboard,” TELUS notes.

Samsung and TELUS also plan on holding a full day Gaming Expo, featuring the Samsung Galaxy S Fascinate 3G+, on Wednesday, November 10 at Yonge and Dundas in downtown Toronto.

Unfortunately, the carrier did not unveil specific info on the release date for Galaxy S Fascinate 3G+, nor on the price tag this device would feature on its airwaves.
