A new Samsung Galaxy S model is expected to make an appearance on the Canadian market in the near future, namely the Galaxy S Fascinate, which is said to be on its way to wireless carrier TELUS.

We've already learned about the arrival of Galaxy S at other wireless carriers in the country, including Bell or Rogers, and now details on the arrival of a new flavor of this high-end device started to emerge.

However, no specific info on when the device would arrive emerged for the time being, and all that is known so far is that it would be “coming soon.”

Running under Google's Android 2.1 operating system, the Samsung Galaxy S Fascinate delivers an enhanced mobile experience on its large 4-inch Super AMOLED touchscreen display (which boasts an 800 x 480 pixels resolution).

At the same time, the phone would be able to provide great performance levels courtesy of the 1 GHz Hummingbird processor Samsung packed inside it.

The specifications list of this Android-based mobile phone also includes 5-megapixel photo snapper with video recording capabilities.

At the same time, the handset should arrive on shelves with 3G, Wi-Fi and Bluetooth connectivity options, as well as with great multimedia features.

The same as other Galaxy S models, the new device would pack enough storage space to enable users carry with them favorite music, while offering enhanced communication capabilities.

Users would benefit from great email features with this device, as well as from its messagign capabilities, social networking support, and more.

Another appealing feature of Galaxy S would be its capability to handle HD video files.

According to a recent article on MobileSyrup, Samsung would plan on taking full advantage of these multimedia capabilities of its Galaxy series (including Galaxy Tab and the Galaxy S family: Captivate, Fascinate and Vibrant).

The series is expected to enjoy an official launch in Canada on October 27th, at an event that would feature the Canadian band Faber Drive.
