Today, South Korean mobile phone maker Samsung Electronics has officially confirmed that its Galaxy S 4 smartphone will become available for purchase in South Korea starting tomorrow, and that it will be sold through SK Telecom, KT and LG U+.

The handset will provide users in the country with appealing performance capabilities while on the go, including fast data connectivity, given that it sports both the Exynos 5 Octa processor inside, and support for 4G LTE networks.

Galaxy S 4, the latest flagship Android-based smartphone from Samsung, was officially unveiled last month in two flavors, one that would pack an 8-core processor inside, and another powered by a quad-core CPU, a 1.9GHz Snapdragon 600.

In South Korea, however, Samsung will launch a special flavor of the Galaxy S 4 (with model number SHV-E300S/K/L), one that also features support for LTE connectivity and terrestrial DMB.

The rest of the mobile phone’s specifications, however, remain unchanged from the international flavor, which is also set to land on shelves before the end of this week.

Samsung Galaxy S 4 arrives on the market with a 5-inch touchscreen display on the front, capable of delivering a full HD resolution, as well as with 2GB of RAM to accompany the aforementioned powerful processor.

Furthermore, the smartphone packs a 13-megapixel photo snapper on the back, with support for full HD video recording capabilities, as well as a front camera for making video calls while on the go.

The specs list of Galaxy S 4 also includes 16GB of internal memory, a microSD memory card slot with support for up to 64GB of additional storage space, as well as a 2600mAh battery.

Not to mention that the smartphone includes WiFi and Bluetooth connectivity capabilities, along with NFC, GPS receiver, IR functionality, and the usual set of sensors. Galaxy S 4 runs under Google’s Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean operating system, with Samsung’s Nature UX loaded on top.
