Although Nvidia certainly hasn't the best track record when it comes down to hardware launches, it seems like the company is determined to make the upcoming GTX 570 available in as many units as possible at launch, recent rumors suggesting the company will release somewhere in the vicinity of 2000 cards in the UK alone, global availability also expecting to be plentiful.

This latest development in the GTX 570 story comes from the KitGuru website that talked with Nvidia insiders across Asia and found out that UK will get close to 2,000 cards at launch.

The news comes just after a few days ago we got the very first look at the GTX 570 pricing, Nvidia's upcoming graphics card making its appearance in not one but two different online stores it the same day, more retailers listing the GTX 570 over the weekend.

In light of the recent availability news, it makes a lot of sense why would this happen as retailers have tried to secure as many pre-orders as possible to increase their sales before the card would pop around just about everywhere.

Coming with 480 CUDA cores clocked at 732MHz, 1.28GB of GDDR5 memory run at 3,800MHz and a 320-bit memory interface, the GTX 570 is expected to deliver similar performance to that of the GTX 480 while running cooler and featuring a lower power consumption, its TDP being rated at 225W.

As far as pricing is concerned, UK retailers have listed this for anywhere from £286 to £335, three of the four stores that have added it tho their inventory selling it under the £300 mark making it a bit cheaper than the similar performing GTX 480.

With 2,000 cards however, there should be enough to go around for everyone in the UK that wants one, but you have to move pretty quickly if you don't what to pay no more than £300 for your very own GTX 570.
