Sony has launched two navigation portable devices that have an attractive design and a 3,5 inch touchscreen with 80 degrees visibility angle. Moreover, the "nav-u" GPS (Global Positioning System) devices from Sony come equipped with a cradle and a simple button for releasing the device from it.

The new NV-U50 and NV-U70T products are developed for easier driving experience and have dynamic re-routing capabilities and real time traffic information through TMC (Traffic Message Channel).

These GPS devices automatically calculate the route and refresh it continuously, for assuring that you're on the right track. Sony claims that the GUI (Graphic User Interface) is very simple to use and guarantees an easy navigation process.

Both devices use a bidirectional speaker system, which insures high voice quality that guides the driver, using a 1.6 watt woofer and a frontal tweeter.

NV-U70T offers various pan European maps from 25 countries in 15 languages. Among the languages included are English, French, Spanish, German, Italian, Dutch, Swedish, Greek, Portuguese, Finnish, Czech, Norwegian, Polish, Danish and Flemish.

Other accessories also available for NV-U50 and NV-U70T are an External GPS Antenna VCA-41, Car Cradle Kit NVA-CU3, TMC Car Cradle Kit NVA-CU3T, European Map Package NVD-DU3 and Car Install Kit XA-49FM.
