The launch schedule for downloadable songs for Rock Band is not showing any sing of slowing down and this week, fans of the music simulation title can look forward to getting no less than nine new tracks from No Doubt, together with a song from Orianthi and Picture Me Broken. The new songs will be arriving today on the Xbox 360 from Microsoft and the Nintendo Wii, those who are gaming on the Sony made PlayStation 3 having to wait until Thursday.

The full list of songs included is: “Different People,” “End It on This,” “Happy Now?” “Hey You,” “Sixteen,” “The Climb,” “Tragic Kingdom,” “World Go ‘Round,” “You Can Do It,” all from No Doubt, Orianthi playing “According to You” and Picture Me Broken with “Dearest (I’m So Sorry).” All of the titles included are master recordings.

Those who get the tracks on the Nintendo Wii can only pick them up individually, for the price of 200 Wii Points each, while those who game on other consoles can get them as part of a package named “No Doubt Tragic Kingdom: The Deep Cuts” and “No Doubt Tragic Kingdom: The Complete Album.”

No Doubt recently made headlines in relation to the Rock Band rival series Guitar Hero from Activision. The band sued the publisher claiming that their likenesses were used without permission in the Band Hero spinoff to play songs coming from other bands although they only gave permission for their own material. Activision tried to defend itself by saying that both freedom of speech and copyright provisions allowed it to do what it did but a judge ruled that No Doubt could go ahead with the suit and ask for reparations from the videogame publisher.

At the moment, Harmonix and MTV Games are getting ready to launch Green Day: Rock Band and there are also plans to put out Rock Band 3 later in the year.
