Beside the impressive lineup of new 3D Full HD plasma displays we've talked about earlier, Japanese company Panasonic also brought to CES 2011 a few highly innovative 3D LED TVs, marking a first in the company's history. The two products in question are the TC-L37DT30, a 37-inch class (37”measured diagonally) device and the TC-L32DT30, a 32-inch class (31.5” measured diagonally), probably designed for those customers who still want to enjoy a good-quality 3D experience, but simply don't have enough space around the house in order to place a 3D PDP.

Anyway, according to Panasonic, their two new 3D Full HD LED displays come equipped with IPS Alpha LED panels for good quality pictures and response time, as well as 240Hz operating frequency, in order to offer a cross-talk-free 3D experience.

Naturally, the company also implemented some of its other technologies in these new 3D LED solutions, including the new VIERA Connect, DLNA, VIERA link, 4 HDMI connections, 3 USB ports and a PC input.

Additionally, since we are, after all, talking about 3D displays here, it should come as no surprise that the LED TVs also pack a 3D VIERA Image Viewer to view JPEG 2D digital still images, while also being able to play 3D digital still images and both 2D & 3D HD video recorded on an SD Memory cards.

“Panasonic is committed to providing the consumer with the highest quality entertainment options and we firmly believe that both Plasma and LCD/LED are terrific technologies. The choice of which technology to purchase depends on a number of factors, including viewing environment and viewing choices,” said Henry Hauser, Vice President, Panasonic, Merchandising, Display Group.

“The consumer now has a choice of buying a Full HD 3D TV, whether Plasma or LCD/LED, from the industry leader. Furthermore, as majority of reviewers pointed out, Panasonic’s 3D HDTVs also produce superior 2D pictures,” Mr. Hauser added.

Unfortunately, much as in the case of the company's other announcements, pricing and availability details haven't yet been provided, but it's safe to say that these things will arrive in stores at some point over the course of 2011.
