We all love Pocket PCs because they are so smart and capable of anything to please our mobile needs at any time. Because of this, every mobile phone manufacturer wants to do its best to fulfill our wishes but unfortunately, not many of them really succeed.

This was the case of the Artemis launched by HTC, a handheld with integrated GPS technology but with no QWERTY keyboard. There are alternatives though and one of them, one of the best in my opinion, is the Fujitsu Pocket LOOX T smartphone.

Not only does it fill the place left empty by the GPS enabled Artemis but, as the spec sheet obviously shows, it also does it in style. The UMTS/GSM/GPRS working on GSM 900/1800/1900 MHz networks and UMTS 2100 MHz runs a Windows Mobile 5.0 operating system on a 416 MHz processor helped by 128MB of ROM memory and 64MB of RAM.

It will also provide its users with a 2.8 inch 65k colors TFT touchscreen working at a resolution of 240x320 pixels, a 2 megapixel digital camera with auto-focus and a VGA one for video conferences, plus a bonus SD/MMC memory expansion card slot for the storage needy users.

Together with the rich specification sheet, the smartphone also comes with a full package of Windows Mobile applications like the Office Suite, the Pocket Internet Explorer, the Windows Media Player 10 for Pocket PC and many others to make your mobile life as easy as possible.

There is no info about the price of the phone yet or the release date but the rumors say we will be able to take a closer look sometime in the end of this year or the beginning of 2007, whichever seems more adequate to its manufacturer.
