Well-known Japanese computer maker Fujitsu has just announced the new Lifebook AH and SH models, on its official website. These come with an Ivy Bridge processor each and boast the high quality build that Fujitsu’s laptops have accustomed us with.

There are six models in the Lifebook AH series and the main specifications are 8 GB or DDR3 RAM with a HDD storage of up to 1 TB. There are external options with optical Blu-ray units supporting the latest BDXL discs connected on USB 3.0.

The top models are fitted with an Intel Core i7-3610QM processor and a FullHD LCD panel. The less powerful configurations come with a Core i3-2350M processor and modest screens using the mediocre 1366 by 768 pixel resolution.

These high-end models also sport what’s likely to be a DBV-T TV Tuner and as it can be clearly seen in the picture, the notebook also comes with a remote control.

The Lifebook SH line comes with two models with 13.3” screens.

The top Lifebook SH notebook is the SH76 / H that has been deemed by Fujitsu’s experts as being the thinnest laptop with an integrated optical drive.

The notebook’s thickness runs from 16,6 millimeters up to 23,2 millimeters, while the weight is a light 1.34 Kg. These translate in imperial as 0.65 inches to 0.91 inches with a weight of just 2.95 pounds.

The Lifebook SH series are powered by an Intel Ivy Bridge processor with the model still unspecified by the press release and come with 4 GB or RAM, a 128 GB or 256 GB SSD, WiMAX and Wi-FI connectivity along with HDMI and USB 3.0.

All of these will go on sale this week so we hope we’ll get better info directly from the market.
