Future cities are in development

iCityApps Inc., a company that specializes in developing free mobile software, recently announced the launch of iCityMiami iPhone application. While the company stated that if has more city-based applications under development, iCityMiami is the first that is officially launched by iCityApps Inc.

The iCityMiami iPhone Application has been approved by Apple and can be downloaded for free,” states Arsen Pereymer, CEO of iCityApps Inc. “We anticipate iCityMyrtleBeach to be ready and approved for launch by mid August,” continued Mr. Pereymer.

Some of the future releases that are currently in development will offer guides for the following cities: Los Angeles, New York, Chicago, Dallas, Las Vegas, Boston, San Francisco and Seattle. iCityMiami is the premier iPhone application that provides users with instant access to everything that is Miami.

The application guides users through the many diverse destinations that make up the greater Miami area. Users will be able to access information related to local venues including but not limited to Shopping, Bars, Nightclubs, Health Clubs, Fine Dining, Attractions, Hotels, Beaches, Airports, Specialty shops, Local businesses to name a few.

iCityMiami is one of more than a hundred free applications currently in development,” states Michael Richmond, Chief Operation Officer of iCityApps Inc. “We’re very excited that our non-obtrusive advertising model will allow iCityApps Inc. to offer this incredible value to consumers at no cost,” continued Richmond.

The key features of the application enables users: Search for the closest location and tells how to get there; Search for restaurants based on food type, proximity and even allows rating the experience; Share experience with friends.

The company also promises an Android version of the free application that should be available in September 2010, as well as a Windows version, which should be downloadable starting October 2010.
