All coming from Samsung

T-Mobile is set to make its subscribers quite happy this year, at least this is what the large number of mobile phones it is rumored to plan on releasing in the following quarters seems to suggest. We already learned that it would launch some Windows Mobile and Android phones in the near future, and it seems that there will be some more.

This time around, the news points towards a tight relationship between the wireless carrier and the Korean phone maker Samsung, as there will be at least four new handsets added to the operator’s lineup that will bear the Samsung logo, besides the already spotted Samsung Houdini, which comes with Google's Android operating system.

The most interesting fact about the four new Samsung phones coming to T-mobile is that they are all expected to feature 3G connectivity, at least this is what a post on the TmoNews Forums points out. In addition, they are all reported to be slated for release before November this year, though none of the phones has been announced officially until now.

The first of the handsets is the Samsung Gravity 2, meant to come as a replacement for the first-generation Gravity, which is now available with T-mobile for $49.99. The device comes with an alphanumeric keyboard, while also including a sliding QWERTY one, and is reported to sport two color options, namely Red/Pink and Graphite/Orange.

The second handset on the list is the Samsung T349, the successor and replacement for Samsung Blast. The third and the fourth Samsung phones headed towards T-Mobile don't have a name yet, it seems, but we learn that they will be a full-touch handset and a clamshell device.

The touchscreen Samsung phone is expected to include a 3-megapixel photo snapper, while sporting the TouchWiz user interface and a rather affordable price tag. The clamshell includes a QWERTY keypad and two displays, though no other details on what else it brings are available at the moment. What we know about it is that it should be launched sometime during summer.
