14 DAY TRIAL // Kourtney Kardashian hoped that making public the results of a paternity test would silence model Michael Girgenti, who’s been saying for years that he’s the father of her son, Mason, but as it turns out, the exact opposite is happening.
In a statement to Radar Online, the model insists that the case is still going to trial because he’s positive he is Mason’s father, and not Kourtney’s partner Scott Disick.
Moreover, he says in a brief statement, the results made public aren’t to be trusted.
“We don’t trust the results and believe it could have been fixed. Still going to court to fight for court ordered results,” says a rep for the model.
As we also informed you earlier today, Girgenti has been telling the tabs for years that he and Kourtney had an affair 9 months before Mason was born.
The fact that they never used protection made him conclude that Scott is not the father, and he’s been asking the reality star (via interviews with various tabloids) to submit to a DNA test to put all doubts to rest once and for all.
More recently, he threatened Kourtney with legal action if she did not comply.
Apparently, even though she did comply eventually, he’s still not happy.
“After three-and-a-half years of rumors and lies being spread by an individual I met briefly at a photo shoot, I am setting the record straight that Scott is Mason's father,” Kourtney said in a statement released through her attorney earlier, when she made the results public.
They confirm Scott is the father.
“While it saddens me to have to address these ridiculous lies – especially when the truth was never in doubt – this story must be put to rest,” she added in the same statement.
Girgenti obviously disagrees and wants it to go on, before a judge.
