Since March this year, a male model who worked with Kourtney Kardashian on a shoot a few years back, has been saying that he’s convinced he’s Mason’s real father, and not Scott Disick, Kourtney’s longtime partner. The results of a DNA test should silence all such claims.

As we also reported at the time, model Michael Girgenti told the tabs that he and Kourtney had an affair precisely 9 months before her first child was born, which led him to believe that there was a high chance he was the father.

They never used protection during their romantic encounters, he also stressed.

More recently, Girgenti took matters to court, filing a request for a DNA test or he’d sue.

Kourtney and her team one-upped him and got the DNA test without as much as acknowledging his claims publicly. You can see the result here: it clearly states that Scott Disick is Mason’s father, with 99.99% certainty.

“After three-and-a-half years of rumors and lies being spread by an individual I met briefly at a photo shoot, I am setting the record straight that Scott is Mason's father,” Kourtney says in a statement released through her attorney.

“While it saddens me to have to address these ridiculous lies – especially when the truth was never in doubt – this story must be put to rest,” she continues.

This is precisely what the Kardashian attorney also said last week, when Girgenti threated legal action against Kourtney if she did not submit to the DNA test – and, of course, he did it in the press first and only afterwards filed the necessary papers.

“His claims are absurd and this is simply another shameful attempt to gain publicity and profit from fictional stories about my client,” the Kardashian rep said at the time.

Girgenti is yet to respond to this.
