Though he constantly insists things are going well for him, Jon Gosselin’s problems seem to be increasing in number with each passing day. The other day, word got out that he once signed a contract with Kate Major, with whom he had a week-long affair a short while ago. Not only does said contract put him in hot waters with TLC, the network to which he was exclusively bound at the time, but according to Radar Online, it will also get him in some trouble with Major herself.

As the paparazzi agency / media outlet informs, Kate Major is weighing in her legal options and is seriously considering taking action against Gosselin. Her claim is that he is in breach of contract with her because, in the hand-written document that emerged the other day and of which we also informed you, he promises to hire her as his personal assistant. Presumably, he failed to do so after he broke up with her only a few days after igniting their short-lived romance.

With all this, Gosselin’s high-powered attorney, Mark Heller, is not in the least bit worried, telling Radar Major is trying to milk the cash cow that is now Gosselin. The problem is, as per his own words, any claim she might make in a court of law has no legal basis whatsoever. Because of this, the lawsuit she intends to file, claiming breach of contract, fraud and loss of wages is only a “joke,” Heller says.

“Kate knows Jon Gosselin is like Obama’s stimulus package. Every time she needs money, she cashes in on the few days she knew Jon Gosselin. [The contract] holds as much order as a six-inch pail with a nine-inch hole. It will not serve for the basis of any litigation. Anybody who would seek to file a lawsuit based on that document would be sanctioned. Her lawyer was very cautious in his language when he said ‘possible’ [breach of contract lawsuit]. Clearly he has no options concerning that matter,” Heller says for Radar.

Major’s attorney confirmed for the same e-zine that, indeed, his client was considering taking the matter to court, but would not offer more details on how exactly she would see a lawsuit coming along based on a hand-written contract alone.
