After the end of a pretty succesful year when HTC didn't fail to present more than a few nice handhelds, including the Athena, Vox, Libra, Love and Cavalier, smartphone manufacturer plans to start this year on the right foot as well with a new set of devices for the HTC smartphone fans out there, expected to be introduced to the public sometime in the first quarter of this year.

Accroding to the information provided here, one of the four - the Kaiser(top left) - features a QWERTY keyboard very commonly found in other HTC handhelds such as the HTC TyTn, a QVGA screen, 3G support, Bluetooth and WiFi for connectivity, as well as the GPS capabilities more handhelds of this type are starting to include.

Another smartphone(bottom right), with an unknown name, appears to be a new and improved version of the HTC Star Trek and also sports a GPS receiver. Two more phones, The Elf and Panda will not include 3G support, but will mainly enter the midrange device market.

The Panda will offer a huge QVGA resolution screen while the Elf(top right) will be more of the affordable type, offering a slim and stylish design, a touchpad and a basic set of features like a 2.8 inch screen or Bluetooth.

And just as you were eagerly expecting, HTC Vox to pop out, now your priorities might change a little because of the HTC Wings (bottom left) that manages to bring a more powerful processor and 3G support. While all of these handhelds HTC seem to plan the release of are more or less newer and better versions of what HTC was already offering, now their customers have quite a wide variety of phones to choose from, according to each person's preferences.
