14 DAY TRIAL // The first footage from Kanye West’s surprise proposal for Kim Kardashian for her 33rd birthday has emerged online – and it confirms that the whole thing will be included on her reality show. Try to act surprised.
You can see the video embedded below: it confirms reports we’ve been hearing for the past couple of days about how the proposal went down, including how Kanye dropped to his knees to ask Kim to marry him, how all their friends and her family were there, and how much fun they had afterwards.
It also confirms another rumor about how Kim had also been involved in the planning of the surprise for the purpose of getting it on camera for Keeping Up with the Kardashians, or perhaps a separate TV special in the vein of her wedding special with Kris Humphries.
So there it is. I’m not surprised that Kim thought of this (in fact, I would have been disappointed in her if she hadn’t done it), as I’m somewhat saddened that Kanye would go along with it, the same Kanye who was saying a short while ago that “I don’t do publicity stunts, period” and that he was an artist who would not share his private life with the media.
I guess love can make people go back on their word.
