Sony Ericsson just brought a solution for allowing busy professionals to quickly and easily connect their PCs or laptops to the internet whenever and wherever they need. It comes in the shape of the MD300 mobile broadband modem, an extremely easy to use device.

Sony Ericsson MD300 is a mobile broadband modem that plugs into any standard USB port, which makes it great to be used as a memory stick as well. The card relies on Microsoft Windows software to install and configure itself when plugged in. The response time is that of only a few seconds and needs only 128 MB of addressable memory for the user. Moreover, Mac drivers are also available for download to ensure compatibility with any operating system.

The MD300 has a simple Wireless Manager interface that makes it extremely easy and enjoyable to use. There will also be instant access through a previously configured button to the PlayNow mobile entertainment service from Sony Ericsson. The device is evolved enough to use with a laptop or with a desktop computer, using a HSDPA, UMTS, EDGE or a GPRS network. Moreover, the device also comes with a set of accessories, such as the desk stand and USB extension cable, to make it even more reliable.

"The MD300 combines high data download speeds with simple installation and configuration, making it the ideal choice for busy professionals who demand no-compromise connectivity", said Johan Tysklind, Marketing Director Mobile Computing at Sony Ericsson. "The MD300 is the first offering in our forthcoming portfolio of mobile broadband products that will combine Sony Ericsson's dependability with a stylish form factor", he further added.

The MD300 works with any PC operating system and will be available in the colors of luxury black and metallic silver starting with the first quarter of year 2008.
