A little over a month after breaking the news to the press that she had adopted a baby boy named Jackson, actress Charlize Theron offered the paparazzi a first look at the child, more or less willingly, as her plane touched down in LA the other day.

Charlize, Jackson and her team arrived at LAX and, for the first time since she adopted the child, the star did not carry him in a baby carrier, with his face covered, as the Daily Mail points out.

It also has the first pictures of Jackson, so follow the link above to access them.

“The 36-year-old carried the tiny tot in her arms, opting to go without the little man's usual mode of transportation. Baby Jackson looked super cute in a striped T-shirt and some beige casual trousers,” the British tabloid writes.

“He wore bright orange socks and tiny black sneakers on his feet. Clutching on tight to her bundle of joy, Charlize looked casual yet chic in a pair of skinny jeans, a white T-shirt vest and an oversized blue cable-knit cardigan,” adds the same media outlet.

As noted above, this is officially the first time that Charlize, known for being fiercely private, allows cameras to snap Jackson.

At the same time, this also means that she won't be going down the celebrity route of having a magazine take her and Jackson's photos for a paid editorial, as most A or even B-list new moms tend to do these days.

Charlize confirmed she'd adopted a baby boy in March this year, but she refused to give more details about him – including his age, which is yet to be revealed.

In a radio interview with Ryan Seacrest, Charlize did say that becoming a mommy changed her life in ways she couldn't even imagine before, but added that she was also receiving a lot of help in this department, mostly from her mother.

“It’s been amazing, the amount of emails and congratulations. Everyone’s just been so lovely, so it’s been really nice,” she said.

“I travel in packs now,” she added laughing, as we also informed you at the time.
