Rosie Huntington-Whiteley starts work on “Transformers 3” in Los Angeles

Up until a couple of weeks ago, fans could have hardly imagined “Transformers 3” without Michael Bay’s lady of choice, Megan Fox. Yet, she has left the production and has been replaced by Victoria’s Secret model Rosie Huntington-Whiteley, who, according to the Daily Mail, is already hard at work on the Los Angeles set.

Just days after confirmation of Whiteley’s involvement in the third installment in the franchise was made, pictures of her on the set have already emerged, which could make some infer that the move had been planned all along. On the other hand, those who were still rooting for Fox should be happy to learn that the photos of Rosie are not the only ones to have popped up online, as the first pics of the Autobots have also surfaced.

“Rosie Huntington-Whiteley has made her first appearance on the set of Transformers III, after taking over from Megan Fox. The Victoria’s Secret model hid her costume under a dressing gown as she smoked a cigarette while waiting to film her scenes. Her appointment as the main love interest in the film was only revealed last week, but she is already hard at work in Los Angeles. The 23-year-old was up against stars including Gemma Arterton, Ashley Green and Zoe Saldana to take over after Megan resigned following the first two films. Even Heidi Montag recorded a video audition in a bid to make it on to the big screen,” the Mail writes.

As per the same publication, Rosie will be in Los Angeles for the following 4 weeks, working on “Transformers.” This could either mean that her part in the film is smaller than Fox’s, or that she will move on location sometime soon for other scenes. Until we find that out, one may as well note that the first pictures of the Autobots have emerged online. These are not official photos either, AceShowbiz points out.

“Other pictures from the upcoming ‘Transformers’ film have also emerged, but this time they feature the Autobots. The photos which were posted on Flickr capture Ratchet which has a new color scheme, Ironhide, Optimus Prime which is covered by a cloak as well as ‘some mysterious fighter planes’,” the e-zine says.
