In January this year, Madonna’s daughter Lourdes (or simply Lola) announced that the new face of the latest Material Girl collections, on which both her mom and herself are credited as designers, would be Kelly Osbourne. Here’s a first look at her.

As fashion lovers must already know, the line previously benefited from celebrity endorsement from “Gossip Girl” rocker Taylor Momsen.

She was reportedly dropped because of her difficult attitude and because she did not pay too much attention to her public image, and it conflicted with the one Material Girl aimed to project.

Kelly Osbourne was considered a better spokesperson for the line that aims to teens – and that wants to be both on the trend and accessible.

The first ads for the new line are now out and they show a Kelly who is not afraid to play with colors and patterns for a unique, youthful and refreshing look.

In fact, that’s what Material Girl is all about, Lola and Kelly tell People magazine. This is a line that encourages young girls to be creative with their outfits so as to be able to create their own style.

Both Kelly and Lola dress from the new collection – and have already found items they’re crazy about.

“The military jacket. I love that and I put it with a bunch of badges on it to make it my own, too,” Madonna’s 14-year-old daughter says.

“The shoes,” Kelly chimes in about her favorite item. “There’s a pair of nude heels that I’m really obsessed with. There’s so much stuff in it that’s so me and what I wear. There’s a leopard dress that I get to wear next that I’m excited about. I love prints,” she says.

“There’s not many other companies besides Material Girl that do clothes at an affordable price that are high fashion and [are] what people see in the magazines and can emulate themselves without having to go and spend $1000 on a dress,” Osbourne adds.

Material Girl is available exclusively at Macy’s.
