14 DAY TRIAL // As we were telling you on Friday, this weekend, Fergie became a “fergalicious” married woman, as the singer finally tied the knot with fiancé actor Josh Duhamel. After a very quiet, but still extremely fancy affair, the two lovebirds embarked on a plane for an exotic destination to spend their honeymoon.
The wedding took place Saturday night, in Malibu, and featured, aside from the gorgeous bride and groom, 300 of their closest friends and family members. The whole thing was well kept under wraps, most of the A-list invitees being told where to come only within hours of the big event, so as to avoid any media leaks that could have ruined the ceremony.
On Sunday, still tired from the all-night party, Fergie and her now-husband, “Transformers” star Josh, were at LAX, destination – unknown. Not surprisingly, despite being surrounded by the paparazzi who kept them asking question after question, the two obstinately refused to say where they were heading to for their honeymoon. However, “Fergie showed off her sparkly 4-carat diamond engagement ring surrounded by other diamonds and even more rocks in her wedding band, which has a special message from Josh inside of it,” PopSugar informs us.
Though details of the wedding are still sketchy, it seems that, in the end, the bride did go the traditional way by wearing a white gown, despite being reported to have said “Don’t expect me to be in white. Maybe I’ll be in black or red or purple.” According to the several sources in the media, Fergie donned a Dolce and Gabbana white gown, with “a veil and millions of dollars of diamonds by H.Stern,” while “Josh and the bridal party also all wore D&G.”
