Despite being one of the hottest female entertainers in showbiz, Fergie is actually extremely discrete when it comes down to her personal life. Her relationship with “Transformers” actor Josh Duhamel is no exception to that rule, as neither is their upcoming wedding ceremony, which will take place this Saturday. Until then, however, we’ve got their unconventional hen and stag joint party they threw just the other day.

While most grooms and brides to be would go to extreme lengths to go wild while they still can, and then hope their spouse would never find out what they did at the bachelor/bachelorette party, Fergie and Josh chose to have just one party to which to invite friends of both. Held in the Dakota Lounge in Santa Monica, a beachside suburb of Los Angeles, the party saw the two lovebirds and 75 of their closest friends come together to celebrate a love that has been going strong for four years, and which will become official on Saturday.

Whereas, for the party, Josh donned a more casual outfit, consisting of dark-colored jeans, white tee and brown leather jacket, all matched with a very chic gray scarf, Fergie was the epitome of elegance in a black sequined mini-dress, showing off her newly-achieved silhouette. In recent weeks, Fergie has been training intensively to shed the 13 pounds she gained for a movie role, in preparation for the big day she’ll say her “I Do.”

Speaking of which, the ceremony will take place at a secret location in the Los Angeles area. Details have been kept well under wraps for fear a media frenzy will spoil the beautiful moment, and guests will be announced of where to come only a few hours before actually having to be there, so as to avoid media leaks.

As for the bride, Fergie has already hinted that she would not be wearing the traditional white on her wedding day. At the moment, the only thing that is known is that her gown has been designed by Dolce & Gabbana. If Fergie’s words, “Don’t expect me to be in white. Maybe I’ll be in black or red or purple,” are any indication, we’re in for a surprise. Stay tuned.
