According to a press release by NAMCO BADAI Games America, Warhammer: Battle for Aluma will be launched on PSP this fall. The game is set to ship on October 17. Battle for Aluma is a new collectible card game set belonging to the Warhammer world. Warhammer gamers can collect more than 400 cards and ultimately, by using their strategy and wits, they can use the cards to defeat their opponents.

Warhammer: Battle for Aluma goes beyond simple player interaction and encourages an inclusive sense of community among players through head to head battles, card collecting, trading and strategy sessions, stated John Whitmore, Director of Internal/External Development for NAMCO BANDAI Games America.

The new game will give players the option of leading the Grand Alliance or Hordes of Darkness into battles and ultimately to victory. Warhammer: Battle for Aluma has 90 different units available and enables players to connect wireless to each other.

Among the most important features of Warhammer: Battle for Aluma is the ability to build custom army decks that can manage to stand even the harshest combats. Also, and extensive tutorial meant to help beginners to get right into the heat of the battle is available.

Players who want to reach the ultimate goal, the Altuma Crystal, need to have the ability to make life and death decisions and to carefully choose their battles as one lost battle can lead to the defeat of their army while a single victory can significantly increase their army's power by winning skilled warriors from the opponent's army.
