Facebook application for Android devices has been updated again with the usual bug fixes, as well as a few improvements meant to increase users' Facebook experience.

Those who are already familiar with the desktop version of Facebook will be happy to find that they will be able to use most of the features that made it one of the most popular social networking application.

Just like the PC version, Facebook for Android makes it easier for users to stay connected and share information with friends while on the go.

Users will be able to share status updates from their home screen, check out their news feed, look at their friends’ walls and user info. In addition, sharing photos from the phone has never been easier.

Furthermore, with Facebook for Android users can check out their News Feed, review their upcoming Events, check in to Places to get Deals, share links, check their Messages, as well as watch videos.

It seems that the application is continuously updated by the developer, in an attempt to make Facebook for Android a bug-free software.

Facebook for Android 1.6.3 introduces an improved design for the composer bar and fixes the following bugs:

- Fixed a bug which made birthdays disappear; - Fixed the Quick Contacts overlay in Friends; - Fixed an issue which caused a crash on start after upgrade. However, it appears that several users have reported a small bug that makes News Feed appear in the old form after the installation of the 1.6.3 update.

The problem is that once the user goes back to the home screen and checks out the News Feed again it reverts to the website version.

Uninstalling and reinstalling the application does not fix this issue, nor deleting the synchronized account.

Facebook for Android 1.6.3 is now available as a free download from Android Market and is fully compatible with devices running Android 1.5 or higher.
