Lionhead, the developer, and Microsoft, as publisher, have offered more information related to the supporting cast the the actors that will lend their voices to the upcoming action role playing game Fable III, which is set to arrive exclusively on the Xbox 360 on October 26.

The entire cast includes:

John Cleese as the butler Jasper Sir Ben Kingsley as Sabine, leader of a tribe of mountain people Simon Pegg as the soldier Benn Finn, always looking for a fight Michael Fassbender as the King Logan, the evil king that will be the target of the player's revolution Zoë Wannamaker as Theresa, a mysterious seer that has previously appeared in the previous games in the series Stephen Fry as Reaver, a capable marksman which has eternal youth Bernard Hill as Sir Walter Beck, the gamer's mentor Nicholas Hoult as Elliot, the potential love interest for a female hero Naomie Harris as Page, leader of the rebels of Bowerstone

Choice quotes from the cast include Sir Ben Kingsley saying, “This is my first experience voicing a video game, so what drew me to it was the team, how committed they are, how well organized everything is and how beautiful the game is,” and Simon Pegg stating, “One of the things that’s missing from a lot of video games is good writing and good voice work. I think this one has a wonderful mythology and it’s witty and it’s engrossing.”

Fable III will put the player in the role of a revolutionary in the world of Albion, preparing to topple the evil king.

The adventure requires allies and one half of the game will be dealing with how gamers, after seizing the throne, will interact with those who have helped them get there.

Initially Fable III was supposed to all arrive on the PC but the release has been pushed back to an unspecified date.
