Creator still vague

Peter Molyneux has to understand when he is better off keeping silent. When the first Fable was launched, he hyped up the game so much that most gamers could do nothing but feel disappointed when they finally played it. It's not that the game was actually bad, but the bar which its own creator had set for it was way too high.

Some think that he might have done similar damage to its upcoming Fable II and recent news that some features might not be actually available on launch date seems like a weird deja vu. Online co-op will, apparently, be only released by the development team as a patch later in the week when the game reaches players. It also seems that the Collector's Edition will be significantly reduced in scope.

Now Peter Molyneux, the boss of Lionhead and the lead designer for Fable II, is vague on whether his game will have a PC version, at some point. In an interview with VideoGamer he said that “If you recall we didn't release a PC version of Fable immediately. I don't think we even announced it immediately. There's no announcement either positive or negative on a PC version just yet”.

When pressed on the question, he added that “You see you said all the maybes and mights there, I'll leave that with you! But these are the sorts of things as you can imagine I get into an enormous amount of trouble for. I have to be very careful!”.

The Xbox 360 version of Fable II will be launched on October 24. Maybe Fable II: The Lost Chapters will come to the PC with a lot of content and features added over the Xbox 360 version.
