Video game publisher Electronic Arts has confirmed that the upcoming FIFA Street video game will include a set of social features grouped under the Street Network name.

It will be available on both the PlayStation 3 from Sony and the Xbox 360 from Microsoft when the game is out on March 13 in the United States and three days later in Europe.

The developers are saying that the new Street Network feature will allow players to compete with one another and directly capture video from the game, highlighting their best tricks, in order to upload them and share them with friends.

There are also options to track and compare in-game progress, including the World Tour story mode and the Head-to-Head Online Seasons.

There are also updates about the game that players can receive through the EA Sports Football Club.

Sid Misra, the leading producer working on FIFA Street, stated, “Street football is all about the one-on-one battle, when you pull off a trick to roast your opponent.”

He added, “The Street Network brings that real-world swagger into the game by enabling players to capture video of those moments and share them with everyone in their street network to see, and providing friends with a way to compare each other throughout the game.”

The Street Network is a way of making the football experience more personal and more social at the same time.

EA Sports did not detail exactly how players would be able to interact with the Football Club feature from FIFA Street after a number of reports suggested that players would be able to play the new spin-off in order to gain experience in the official Club.

The new FIFA Street is a reboot of the series and uses the core FIFA 12 gameplay engine, including all the physics elements.

The game will offer more than 100 real-world footballers and close to 40 simulated stages.
