The development team at EA Sports has already delivered a look at the core gameplay features of the coming FIFA 16, in a trailer that boasted narration from the legendary Pele, but the company is not only catering to long-term fans as it is also adding a new trainer in order to give newcomers a simple and efficient way to learn about the mechanics of the simulation.

The key to the new system is contextual feedback that basically projects options for player action above their head in the game, with the player able to choose one and execute it.

The official announcement explains that "From basic commands that will help get you on your feet to deeper hints that can help shift the tide of the match in your favor, the FIFA trainer is like having an expert by your side while you play."

The new heads-up-display for FIFA 16 is entirely optional, and gamers who feel it is intrusive or makes the sim too easy can turn it off and play as they did with previous installments in the series.

A new basic level is also being introduced for the Skill Games in the football title, which are specifically designed to cater to the needs of newcomers to the series and show how accessible the learning process can be.

FIFA 16 aims to improve all core game mechanics

EA Sports wants gamers to see improvements to every side of the coming football sim, starting with the defensive and ending with shots on goal.

FIFA 16 gives players more ways to tackle attackers and to defend as a team, and there are more options for passes, especially for shot and fast ones that are designed to unlock an enemy defensive and to lead to a chance to score.

Taking inspiration from Lionel Messi, the development team has announced that no touch dribbling will be included and that there are new ways to control the place where a shot will go.

The only major area of the title that has not yet been detailed by the development team is the Ultimate Team mode, which is very important for the current fan base.

FIFA 16 will be out on September 24 and can be played on the PC, the Xbox One, the PlayStation 4 and older home consoles.
