During the Electronic Arts E3 2015 press conference, the publisher brought out Pele to talk about FIFA 16 and the way the game is being designed from the ground up to reflect the new Play Beautiful slogan for the football sim franchise.

EA Sports is now ready to offer more details about how each core gameplay element is being enhanced in this year's installment and how players will be able to use them to get an improved experience.

When it comes to defensive efforts in FIFA 16, gamers will see more balance, with tweaks to the way defenders move that will make it easier for them to block attackers and a new focus on the way the entire team uses positioning to stop threats.

The team is also adding fake and standing tackles and new full body challenges.

Modern football is won or lost in midfield, and there the simulation adds smarter interceptions that allow players to close channels and stop attacks before they start.

FIFA 16 also makes it easier to find teammates with short and fast passes that make the entire experience more dynamic.

EA Sports is also adding more options for creative gamers

FIFA 16 has been focused on the spectacle that football can generate during the past few years, and the new installment will add no touch dribbling.

The developers state that it will allow gamers to simply let the ball move and deliver feints, with the inspiration for the new feature coming from Lionel Messi.

There are also more options for placing shots to make sure that they get past the goalkeeper.

David Rutter, vice president and general manager for the FIFA 16 team, states, "Whether fans prefer short and precise passes through the middle, or getting it outside and whipping in crosses, the beauty of FIFA 16 is that it offers fans the freedom to play their way and find success on the pitch."

The new title also introduces women's national teams for the first time in the franchise.

EA Sports has not yet said what changes it plans to make to the Ultimate Team mode in FIFA 16.

The game is set to be launched on the PC, the PlayStation 4, the Xbox One and older home consoles on September 24.
