The FBI have met with Katherine Russell, Tamerlan Tsarnaev's widow at her residence in North Kingstown, Rhode Island looking for DNA evidence, reports say.
As I told you, Russell has been married to the now deceased suspect in the Boston Marathon explosions for three years.
During previous interviews with the FBI, she has denied knowing anything about the attacks or her husband's radical views.
Boston Globe writes that agents took a DNA sample from her, aiming to compare it to one found at the scene after the Boston blasts. Said DNA may have been recovered off unexploded bomb fragments.
Russell converted to Islam within a year from meeting Tsarnaev, which is also when she left college to marry him. The pair had a daughter who is now being looked after by her maternal grandparents.
