14 DAY TRIAL // Marilyn Manson and Evan Rachel Wood gave their romance another try by reconciling in December last year. Almost one month later, word got out in the media that the shock rocker had proposed to his girlfriend and she had, as expected, said yes. Out on a date the other day, the actress flashed a ring that can’t but be her engagement ring, The Sun says.
The two don’t really like to hit the celebrity circuit, which is why, when they do, they almost immediately make headlines. On this particular occasion, as they were heading to their car, Evan lifted her hand to her face and a ring on her finger was clearly visible. Because of where she had it and its shape, all media outlets have unanimously concluded that it was an engagement ring and Wood’s gesture was her way of confirming earlier rumors.
“Evan Rachel Wood has bagged two shock rockers – one on her arm and one on her digit. The Wrestler actress sported the bling on her engagement finger during a night out with fiancé Marilyn Manson. Evan began dating the Disposable Teens singer – 20 years her senior – back in 2007 after meeting at a party,” The Sun says. The British tabloid also includes a photo of the couple and the alleged engagement ring.
“But by the end of 2008, they were already on a break from each other to reportedly ‘concentrate on work.’ They rekindled their romance again in 2009, only to split for a second time. Their third attempt together came last December, when Marilyn – real name Brian Warner – announced he and Evan were an item again. The indecisive pair then got engaged in January this year,” the same publication goes on to say.
Since neither Manson nor Woods is known for doing these things by the (celebrity) book, meaning by issuing press statements and talking about the big news in their life whenever they have the chance, fans will perhaps find out whether the above report is accurate when – and if – they marry.
