LG's flagship mobile phone KM900, also known as LG Arena, has made the headlines quite a few times before, and a lot of details on the device were unveiled since the phone maker announced it at the Mobile World Congress in Barcelona, except for one aspect of the equation, namely the price the handset would feature on the market.

It seems that news in this direction is now coming down the pipe from the Dutch site PortableGear.nl, which states that the new LG device should come to the market, at least in The Netherlands, featuring a price of €599 (including VAT), which would be around $810 in US dollars.

Given the fact that the Korean mobile phone maker will probably try to push Arena to the market via different wireless carriers, we could safely assume that the handset will sport different price tags across different markets, yet they should stick around the €599 mark for sure. Those who sign a contract agreement with the carriers will probably be able to purchase the device at a much lower price.

Undoubtedly, the LG Arena has a lot of new features to offer, with its 5-megapixel photo snapper and the WVGA display with touchscreen capabilities, as well as with the company's proprietary S-Class Touch 3D user interface. Yet, given the fact that the handset is not actually a smartphone, one could wonder whether it's worth all that money if purchased without a contract agreement.

The new device is expected to come to the market in several European countries as soon as this month, while in The Netherlands it should land in April. It should see a lot of traction from users, mainly due to the above-mentioned features it comes with, as well as thanks to its looks and the large storage capacity it offers, which can rise up to 40GB.
