Leading provider of solutions aimed at helping retailers to offer an enhanced experience to their users, Escalate Retail, has just announced the release of a new native mobile self-service application for in-store use on handsets running under the new Windows Phone 7 platform from Microsoft.

The software was released under the codename of “Project Arke,” and comes from Escalate, Microsoft and IdentityMine.

The new app, was meant to offer in-store shoppers the possibility to access and buy merchandise online, while being in the real stores.

The software was designed so as to offer in-store shoppers the possibility to access detailed product information and personalized features in the context of the store they are visiting.

Customers would have the possibility not only to research products in-store, but also to make confident buying decisions while still in the store.
