Another "World of..." game trying to conquer the MMO world

We're living in a true MMO era and, according to game analysts, that's the future of PC gaming. New online universes are released every now and then, but they barely manage to bring any novelties to this overused concept. However, one of the new titles that want to give it a shot is World of Kung Fu, a free to play MMORPG developed by VestGame and originally released in Asian markets.

The game just came out, following a successful open beta stage, and it already contains a multitude of maps, quests and items. It doesn't lack players, either, since, according to in-house data, in the past few months 700 to 1000 new registrations per day were recorded. Also, VestGame has just added a second server in order to accommodate the influx of new players and offer a flawless gaming experience.

"The launch of World of Kung Fu into Western markets represents the culmination of many months of strenuous effort, and is a real milestone for VestGame. It's great to see so many new players enjoying the fruits of our labor," said Jonathan Seidenfeld, VestGame Director of Business Development.

The game allows players to learn and master their own Kung Fu style, then take part in the creation of a "Wulin" (the classic Kung Fu society). Later in the game, players will be able to become masters in their own schools, get apprentices and pass the knowledge to others - which is a really interesting addition to an MMO! However, reaching such a status will not be too easy, since along the way players will have to pass numerous tests and defeat tons of enemies.

Another addition that could be interesting is the so-called player vs. environment combat (along with the classic PvP battles). As long as this PvE doesn't mean that we'll have to chop trees with our bare hands, it could be a hit. Also, another aspect that contributes to the epic scale of World of Kung Fu is the possibility to have wars between different schools in the game. Of course, it is most likely nothing more than a Guild vs. Guild thing, but it will probably be very interesting to watch - just imagine something like Bruce Lee vs. Jet Li!

If all these things seem interesting and you'd like to give this game a try, head over to its official website and download it!
