The far-right group appears to be trolling the hacktivists

Anonymous continues OpEDL, the campaign initiated by the hacktivists in response to the English Defence League’s recent protests.

According to Cyber War News, the hackers have leaked more data on the far-right organization’s members and they claim to have disrupted a website that’s allegedly linked to the EDL. However, they don’t seem to have accomplished too much so far.

On the other hand, the EDL is “retaliating.” First, they published a video statement in which they say they don’t care about what the hackers do.

“You are a group of typing tinker-bells. Maybe you can destroy people’s work from behind your keyboards, but that doesn’t make you any more right than any other terrorist, or any other extortion racket,” the EDL said in the video.

In addition, the EDL trolled Anonymous by posting a message on the Twitter account of the Scots Defence League.

“We made an announcement saying that ‘Hacked By AnonymousUK! #OpEDL’. The results? Priceless,” one EDL supporter wrote in a blog post.
