At this point, it's anyone's game

With my “senpai” out on shore leave, I find myself with both the Player1 and Player2 controllers all to myself. It won't make for much of a co-op experience, but it does open some very interesting, new possibilities. Like a coup d'etat.

Anyway, I'm almost fed up with Dragon Age: Origins. I've shoved so much of it down my throat, it feels like I'm about to sweat it through every pore. I'm still going to play some of it this weekend, don't get me wrong, it's just that I won't get as much out of it. If anything, this can be seen as an opportunity for other games to make it back into my schedule.

I've been circling Left 4 Dead 2 for quite some time, and, even though it doesn't have me as excited as Assassin's Creed 2, it will still probably end up in my lap. I had a few glimpses of it, and all that I can say is that I love the melee weapons. “Ninja blade over here” is all that I had to hear to make up my mind. Speaking of blades, Assassin's Creed 2 must get some affection this weekend.

A German-speaking friend of mine exchanged a few opinions of Divinity 2: Ego Draconis, and the game seems very promising. I also had a few contacts with it, via the “behind the shoulder” chase camera, when he took a quick run through it. The skills and game classes are very interesting and offer some very flexible character builds.

The facts that you can recustomize your character along the game is also very nice. What is a bit strange is that you can change your gender, which is a bit unsettling to say the least. But worry not, it's properly explained and it doesn't seem weird at all. I won't give away the gimmick, I'll just leave this myth “ plausible.” So, in the end, it looks like this weekend I'm open to possibilities, and there is no plan actually set. Come to think of it, it's been ages since I played World of Warcraft.
