As we were also telling you yesterday, Eminem is in the latest issue of Rolling Stone magazine, talking about anything and everything, from his past drug addiction, road to recovery and impressive music comeback, in a piece called simply “The Road Back from Hell.”

New excerpts from the interview also shed some light on the rapper’s love life, now that we know that he writes his best music in the bathroom, considers Sir Elton John his savior and has a room in his house only for 50 Cent.

For instance, Em is very candid about his severe trust issues with people in general, not just women. However, given his past romantic experiences, he’s twice as cautious when it comes to the ladies.

“I have trust issues. With women, friends, whatever. You always wonder what their real motives are. I’ve got a small circle of friends, and it’s a lot of the same friends I’ve known forever,” the rapper says for the magazine.

Fame is also working against him in terms of finding for himself a partner, he goes on to say. He would love to think of dating again but, for the time being, it’s not happening, Em says.

“Right now, that works for me. I came out of some difficult things these past couple of years. I kind of feel like I’m just now finding my footing,” the rapper explains.

“So I want to make sure that’s secure before I go out and do anything else. I need to keep working on myself for a while,” Eminem adds.

As we also mentioned the other day, in the same interview, the rapper opens up about his addiction to prescription pills and how difficult it was for him to realize he needed help because he was killing himself.

While he credits Elton John for being his “unofficial sponsor” – Em says he was the first person he called when he realized he need to get clean – he also underlines he wouldn’t have made it this far without the help of his closest friends, Fiddy included.
