The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim has only been officially announced for a little over one month, but Bethesda seems very interested in delivering a lot of details on the upcoming role-playing game to fans of the game universe in order to show how they plan to expand the experience and get the hype level up about ten months before the official launch date.

In a bigger feature delivered in the Dutch Power Unlimited magazine Todd Howard, who is the game director working on The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim, has gone on record saying, “We primarily look at how we can improve facial expressions and animations, graphics-wise.”

He added, “We are working at pop-up issues, and we want to make sure that the graphics of the PC, Xbox 360, and PS3 are alike. All three will look just as good, aside from the higher resolution and the anti-aliasing of the PC of course.”

The developer also said that the game world was roughly the same size as that seen in Oblivion and that there were five major cities and 130 big dungeons, with everything easy to reach for the player via a fast travel system linked to previously discovered locations.

Skyrim will offer 20 hours of gameplay linked directly to the main quest, allowing even more casual gamers to complete it, while including side quests, some of them chained, that can suck up another 100 hours, aimed squarely at dedicated fans.

The Dark Brotherhood has been confirmed as being included in the new Elder Scrolls game.

Dragons will be quite numerous in Skyrim, with each of them able to enhance the power of the main character and grant him more abilities.

The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim has a well-defined launch date of November 11 and Bethesda will release the game on the Xbox 360, the PlayStation 3 and the PC.
