Electronic Arts announced the release of its new action-puzzle game for mobiles, LEGO Escape, available now for download from operators in Europe. LEGO fans, together with casual puzzlers as well as all those who like good games will surely enjoy LEGO Escape's action. The game's plot is simple: you must help a LEGO worker to escape from the factory where he is held captive, in a race against the clock.

Keeping the LEGO brand tradition, the game offers players the chance to spend many challenging hours in the attempt to build a tower from LEGO bricks that fall from the sky. At the same time you must fight flying robots (that fire electrical charges and move bricks), in order to ensure that the structure you are building is solid enough and will not collapse. Rebuilding from zero is not a good option because valuable time is wasted.

LEGO Escape comes with a vivid design and its challenging game play and action element will ensure its success. The new EA game includes four environments, differently themed and colored, as well as "power-ups" like jumping boots, for example, that can be collected and used in helping the LEGO worker to complete his quest.

With LEGO Escape, old LEGO fans together with new ones will be able to go back to the roots of what LEGO play means: building and creating to your heart's content.

Since their initial release, back in 1949, the LEGO bricks became one of the most popular toys for both children and adults. Created by Lego Group, a privately held Danish company, the LEGO bricks can be assembled to form basically anything, from cars, planes and robots, to castles or mini-cities. During the years, thousands of LEGO play sets were created, play sets that cover an abundance of themes: robots, space, dinosaurs, boats, cities, medieval castles, Harry Potter, Star Wars, Spider-Man, Batman and many others.
