Just days after announcing that Microsoft Dynamics GP 2010 R2 will be offered to customers in the first half of 2011, the Redmond company confirmed officially that customers will be able to get Microsoft Dynamics NAV 2009 R2 in just a few weeks.

The worldwide General Availability deadline for Microsoft Dynamics NAV 2009 R2 is December 15, 2010, the software giant confirmed officially.

In this regard, Microsoft has managed to live up to the promise made earlier this year, that it would offer the next version of Dynamics NAV by the end of 2010.

The company later narrowed it down and said that customers would be able to purchase Dynamics NAV 2009 R2 in the fourth quarter of this year.

“Take a minute to consider the possibilities and new opportunities Microsoft Dynamics NAV 2009 R2 offers your business with features like built-in integration with Microsoft Dynamics CRM, new cloud opportunities; RoleTailored Client Access for Remote and Roaming Users, Microsoft Application Virtualization Support and Online Payment Service for Microsoft Dynamics NAV.

“What’s more some really cool business data visualization capabilities and many of the new features and enhancements will make it easier for you to grow your business by providing even better solutions for customers,” revealed United States Microsoft Dynamics Product Marketing Manager, Todd Bergeson.

Microsoft has already updated a range of resources related to Dynamics NAV 2009 R2 and designed to allow partners to get ready for the release.

Of course, only customers with valid PartnerSource or CustomerSource accounts will be able to access the new content that the software giant delivered in anticipation of the imminent launch.

“Microsoft Dynamics NAV 2009 not only transformed its user experience, revolutionizing the rich client experience with RoleTailored UX and modernization, it also significantly re-factored the architecture with 3-tier, web services, and a .NET runtime,” Bergeson added.

“The SP1 release in September 2009 further innovated and added new functionality for significant productivity improvements and optimized upgrade experiences for existing customers!”
