14 DAY TRIAL // Opera Software has just released the final version of Opera 10 for Mac OS X. Opera 10 is available in 43 languages on Windows, Mac and Linux, while the piece of software is free to download and use on any platform. Touted as “the world’s most innovative browser,” Opera is available for download right here, on Softpedia.
The recent Opera 10 release candidates have been described as “feature-complete, with a surprising array of new features, a fresh look and feel, a new application icon, and enhanced speed and performance.” There are now three major things you must try in Opera 10, Opera Software says. One is Opera Turbo, “a new compression technology that solves the pain of slow connections.” The second is the web browser’s new interface. Indeed, the visual changes brought by Opera 10 are quite breathtaking.
“You have never seen an Opera browser that looks like this,” the company points out. “For Opera 10 we gave the browser a streamlined and elegant, new interface. The world-class design complements Opera’s world-class features that help you get even more out of your Web browsing,” Opera Software adds.
The third major improvement, according to the browser’s makers, consists of better tabs. With the final version of Opera 10, users can resize their tab bar by pulling it down or double-clicking the handle. The bar also shows full thumbnails of all open tabs.
