The development team behind one of the most popular mobile browsers in the Android Market has just announced the release of a new version of their application, namely Dolphin Browser HD v5.1.1 Beta.

The new application release comes with a series of fixes that are aimed at the various issues that slipped in the previous final release of the browser, namely Dolphin Browser HD v5.1.

According to the development team, this is only a minor update for the mobile application, aimed at bringing improved stability and at resolving certain bugs.

All those who have the Dolphin Browser HD v5.1 installed on their devices should strongly consider upgrading their applications to the new flavor, the development team continues.

The release notes of Dolphin Browser HD v5.1.1 beta include:

- Fixed crash problem on Asus Transformer & Xoom when selecting batch mode to delete multiple bookmarks at once - Fixed Google image issue: When doing a google search and clicking on the “images” tab, then choosing an image the address bar slips in from the top of the screen causing a jittering effect as it slowly slides down. - Fixed some other random crashes according to the crash log you sent to us.

At the same time, the development team notes that, although there are fixes for the various bugs that were spotted in version v5.1.0, chances are that some other issues were not resolved.

As stated above, this is a beta release of the browser, and all those who will download and install it should consider providing feedback on the experience they received, so that any unresolved issues are fixed.

We should also note that the company is also running a private beta program for the Dolphin Browser HD v6.0, and that it might not be too long before the brand new flavor of the application is pushed out.

In the meantime, users can download and install the new Dolphin Browser HD v5.1.1 Beta from Softpedia, via this link.
