Comes for free at the Android Market

DataViz, Inc. announced recently that its Documents To Go 2.0 for Android software solution was available for download on the Android Market. According to the company, a Microsoft Gold Certified Partner and leading provider of Microsoft Office compatibility solutions, the new solution comes as a feature-rich, enterprise-grade productivity tool developed for mobile phones running under the Google Android operating system.

Documents To Go 2.0, DataViz said, can be downloaded from the Android Market for free. “By introducing a free viewer edition as well as a full version with premium capabilities, we are able to make Documents To Go accessible to all Android device users around the world,” said Ilya Eliashevsky, product manager, DataViz, Inc. “With added support for PowerPoint and PDF files, Document To Go is now the most comprehensive Office suite available in the Android Market.”

Some of the key features the new flavor of the application comes with include Microsoft PowerPoint File Support (viewing, editing and creating of PowerPoint presentations can now be done via a new Slideshow To Go component), Adobe PDF File Support (high-fidelity viewing of Adobe PDF files offered via the PDF To Go component), Enhancements for Microsoft Word & Excel File Support (find and replace, word count, number formatting, sheet formatting, contextual menus, improved selection modes and scrolling, optimizations for touch, and a ‘Live Folder’) and a non-expiring, free Version for All Android-based Devices.

Those willing to try Documents To Go 2.0 will find it available for download at the Android Market. The free version comes in English, French, German, Italian and Spanish. The paid version is also there, and the ‘Full Version Key’ will unlock a series of premium features for the price of $29.99. According to the company, those who already purchased the Documents To Go version 1.0 will receive the 'Full Version Key’ for free. All Android-powered handsets currently available on the market are supported.
