Next-gen fun featuring Dante and Nero

The good news comes from Capcom, but it only pleases the few blessed reviewers and news editors that will have the privilege of attending the 2007 Games Convention that takes place in Leipzig, starting August 22. It turns out that Devil May Cry 4 will be available in its Xbox 360 version, at a special Capcom stand, dedicated to the latest installment in the DMC series.

The PS3 version will only be showcased, while the Xbox 360 one will be playable. Devil May Cry 4 will be officially released this winter and there are talks about a future PC version of the great title. If you're attending the soon-to-come Games Conference, you might want to know that you'll be able to play as Nero if you get your hands on the game. He's a new character in the series, using a Devil Bringer arm to dispatch his enemies and allowing the player to perform lots of combos thanks to his skills.

It may matter to many of us gamers that the series has sold 7 million units so far, another confirmation of the game's quality and rightful fame. Back to Nero, you might want to know that the character is a knight, part of the Order of Maken and set on a quest to destroy all of the demons he encounters. I'm not going to spoil the fun for you, so I'll just mention this: Nero will cross his path with the famous Dante...

Eager to play the game? There are 8 days left till the event and all you can do is watch trailers of the game and feast on screenshots, but nothing compares to the next-gen experience provided by Capcom. Will this be the only title ending with a "4" available at the Convention or will we have the chance to play Metal Gear Solid 4 and Call of Duty 4 as well? Seems to be wishful thinking right now, but we'll just wait and see.
