Images are showing the content players will get access to

Almost since the first expansion for Destiny, The Dark Below, was launched, speculation appeared about the second big content drop for the social shooter, named House of Wolves, and a new rumor is suggesting that the launch date, which was thought to be set for March, has been moved to May, presumably the second half of the month, on the 19th.

The information comes from a Reddit thread that uses details from the Japanese version of the game, with a user claiming that he is able to access some content associated with the expansion and has managed to even capture images linked to it.

Gear will now have a maximum level of 39, which means that players who get House of Wolves will be able to increase their strength significantly, and there are a lot of new items and weapons they can get access to.

The images captured by the player do seem legitimate and they show that the expansion will introduce new maps, a new strike, and a new big end-game raid, just as the development team promised a while back.

It’s hard to piece together from the leak exactly what the content will be, but Bungie has already said that it is aiming to avoid the big mistakes that it made when The Dark Below was introduced.

The Reddit thread also suggests that the bigger Comet content drop for Destiny will not be coming before the fall of this year.

It is rumored to add more environments and to make some big changes to the core game mechanics.

Bungie has not offered any official comment on the new leaked info.

Destiny will continue to receive hotfixes and events

Before House of Wolves is launched, the social shooter will get more hotfixes and patches, with 1.0.9 apparently set to be introduced before the end of the month.

Bungie has already said that it wants to make sure that it fixes the heavy ammo bug, and there are also plans to eliminate more glitches associated with the Crota’s End raid.

The studio is also continuing to run events associated with Destiny in order to keep the player community engaged, with a Bungie Bounty set to be introduced today and Iron Banner also coming back, probably next week.
