Bungie is not talking about associated notes yet

The development team at Bungie is announcing that it will be launching a new update for its social shooter Destiny tomorrow, Tuesday, June 2, just before the game once again gets access to the Iron Banner game mode.

The information comes from the official Twitter account of the company, but the studio is not offering any clear details on when the changes will be implemented.

As usual when it comes to Destiny, a full list of the patch notes will only be offered when the maintenance period has ended and deployment of the update has been completed.

While Bungie is actually implementing the changes, gamers will be kicked from the activities they are engaged in and they will have to download the update and then apply it before they can return to the social shooter.

The company is presumably aiming to fix some of the problems that the game community has been talking about since House of Wolves was launched on May 19, including the issues with emblems for Trials of Osiris and some other problems with weapons and other mechanics.

The new version of the Iron Banner that is returning to Destiny on June 2 will come complete with new rewards for gamers who are competitive and with some tweaks to the way the experience is balanced.

Destiny might get a new expansion before the end of 2015

The player community is at the moment occupied with the new Trials of Osiris and Prison of Elders modes and the new items and weapons they can deliver for capable Guardians.

But soon, the attention of the fans will turn to the rumored second expansion that will be offered for Destiny before the end of the year, apparently called The Taken King.

It will be designed to introduce an entirely new environment for gamers to explore and will also make other tweaks to the core mechanics.

Bungie has recently registered some new trademarks linked to something called the Eververse, which might be a solution to actually give players of Destiny a way to trade with each other in order to find the perfect piece of equipment for their characters.

The development team will probably make an official announcement at some point during the summer.
